The administrative offices of the Adopt-A-School program are
located at The West Alabama Chamber of Commerce. Through the collaborative
efforts of The West Alabama Chamber of Commerce and the Tuscaloosa
City and Tuscaloosa County school systems the program serves all
the public schools in both systems. The Adopt-A-School staff recruits
adopters and sustainers for the program; provides coordinator
workshops and training that teaches partners to get the most of
their partnerships; and coordinates opportunities and support
for both the corporate and educational partners.
